What are the available Investment Options?

You have access to a selection of MS Broker (Integer Group SA) Investment Options and a refined list of Single manager Investment Options. You may access the Tax Free Investment Account Investment Option information with one of our agents. We have 3 different tier groups:

Short term investment?

Are dividend accumulated monthly, but you only get your total dividends at the end of your maturity period (annual).

½ moon investment ?

Are dividend accumulated monthly but payouts are done every 5 months.

Flexi investment ?

Are dividends accumulated monthly and the payout is done on a monthly basis depending on the agreement with administrator.

What is a top up?

A top up is adding more money to an existing investment. You're increasing your position in an existing investment rather than starting a new one. It helps increase the returns/dividends of the package/tier group chosen. Each top-up requires a separate engagement fee, which is not included in the initial investment amount or in any dividends accrued prior to the top-up.

The Tax Free Investment Account

Who administers the Tax Free Investment Account? The Tax Free Investment Account is administered by the Administrator, who is licensed by the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act as a category lll Administrative Financial Services Provider.

Who owns my investment?

You own the investment. However all the assets are held in are custody in the name of the nominee company appointed by the administrator. The nominee company is an independent company approved by the FSCA.

What are the maximum investment amounts?

There are no maximum amount in term of our investing portfolio.

What do I need to open a Tax Free Investment Account?

Submit an application form in the prescribed format with the required supporting documentation to the Administrator for approval. In addition, you must make payment to the Tax Free Investment Account bank account.

When does my Tax Free Investment Account close?

When the total value of your investment is paid out the account will be closed. This may occur on withdrawal, death or transfer to another investment platform.

What is the value of my investment?

The value is equivalent to the market value of your investment option less any fees and charges. The value of your investment will increase or decrease as the market values of the underlying securities in your chosen investment option fluctuate.

What are the minimum investment amounts?

We have different categories listed in the tier group but the minimum starts at mini/Macro (Short term).

Investments can be switched to different portfolios based on the equity, although can be extended depending on when the top up was done. The investment will pay dividends on the remainder of the time frame.

Please note that all payments will be done electronically, and that MK Brokers (Integer group) will not make payments to credit cards, loan accounts, market-linked accounts, or third party bank accounts. Payments will only be made to a transactional bank account in the name of the policy holder.

Can I get a payout of funds from the Tax Free Investment Account?

Yes, only when the investment has reached its maturity date/period with dividends compiled at 10 months. Only payments as agreed on dividends according to the category/tier group of investment chosen by the client/investor. Your initial capital investment is returned to you at the end of the 12-month investment period. Payments will only be made to a bank account in the name of the investor or their estate.
